Windows 10 v1809がRTM体制に移行したので10月第一週は要注意！（かも？）

2018年10月期のWindows Updateはメジャーアップデート期間なので、Windows Updateが自動実行になっているPCはご注意ください。

Windows Centralによると、｢Windows 10 October 2018 Update｣がRTM（Release To Manufacturing）に達し開発が完了したそうです。

「関係筋」からの情報らしいので確定ではありませんが...

（たぶん）メジャーアップデートはバグだらけなので、Windows Updateの自動更新はOFFにしておきたいです。

10月の第一週の火曜日、つまり10月2日に配信されるのではなかろうか？

との観測情報がありますので警戒しておきましょう。

追記

2018/09/30

Windows 10 Homeユーザーは既定の設定ではWindows Updateの適用を延期することができませんが、「従量制課金接続」の設定を有効にすると一時的にWindows Update ファイルのダウンロードを抑止することができます。

Development on the next Windows 10 feature update, codenamed Redstone 5 and officially known as the October 2018 Update, is now complete.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Microsoft has internally signed-off on the RTM (Release To Manufacturing) build of Redstone 5 at 17763, which is build that has been in testing with Insiders for more than a week on PC, HoloLens, and Xbox.
