Anti-WebMiner protects your PC from Web cryptocurrency miners (JS scripts such as Coinhive in your browser) by modifying the Windows hosts file.

Operating principle

Anti-WebMiner appends the sites listed in Blacklist to Windows hosts and blocks access by mapping the IP address to 0.0.0.0.

When you start AntiWebMiner and click "Protect!", The contents of blacklist.txt will be added to the hosts file.

Security software may react when you change the hosts file.

If you are not comfortable changing the hosts file, please do not use Anti-WebMiner.

Example of using uBlock Orgin

uBlock Origin is an ad blocker with the same concept as Adblock Plus.
