Introducing "Help me!" software that solves the problem of overlapping windows on the taskbar located at the top of the Windows desktop.

The taskbar is located below the desktop area when using Windows with the default settings, but the taskbar can be located anywhere above, below, left or right.

For Windows 10, there are two ways to move the taskbar.

  1. Drag the taskbar to the desired location (up/down/left/right)
  2. Use Settings app

If the taskbar is locked, you can drag it by releasing the [Lock taskbar] setting. For details on how to set A and B above, read the postscript.

"Help me!" is software that works only when the taskbar is placed at the top.

It is effective in the following environments.
  • Taskbar is placed on top
  • You are using an application that launches with the window submerged under the taskbar and the title bar hidden

If the application window is displayed so as to overlap the taskbar, you can grab the title bar and drag it, but if the window dives below the taskbar, you cannot grab the window title bar, so drag can not do.

In some windows, you can't use the method of moving the hidden window by typing Alt + ↓ on the keyboard several times, so in that case, "Help me!"

TClock2ch, which allows you to modify the clock in the notification area, has a function to "push back when the taskbar and window overlap".

TClock2ch users can get the same result as "Help me~!" by enabling that function.
